“Her Last Will” sold to Metaphorosis

First of all, I hope all my neighbors in Ontario and Quebec have safely survived the storm that roared through our provinces on Saturday, and that everyone who lost power now has it restored. I haven’t seen anything like this for many years, and hope not to again for a long time to come.

Onto to happier news…I’ve sold my story “Her Last Will” to Metaphorosis. This is one of my favorite magazines to work with, first because the editor, B. Morris Allen, provides such helpful and insightful feedback on drafts, and second because Matt Gomez, the Metaphorosis Podcast Editor, does such a wonderful job narrating their stories (for my money, Matt is one of the best short fiction podcast narrators I’ve heard).

This will be my second appearance in Metaphorosis. They previously published my story “The Azurian Shield” in their October 2021 issue.

Happy Victoria Day to my fellow Canadians … hoping this holiday ushers in a safe, happy, and storm-free summer for all.
