My Father John trilogy, which I started working on well over twelve years ago, is coming to an end. Today I thought I’d take you on a journey through the evolution of the cover art for the series.
On December 12, 2012, I published the first novel in the trilogy, Father John vs the Zombies. This was the initial cover:
A little over two years later, on March 25, 2015, I published the sequel, Bishop John vs the Antichrist. I created new cover art for the sequel, of course, and updated Father John’s cover to match:
The final novel in the trilogy, St. John vs Death, will be published on December 12, 2024, exactly a dozen years after the first book. Here’s the the new set of cover art for the series:
