I debated between an exclamation mark and interrogation point in the header to this post, and settled on the latter as the more humble choice. It doesn’t mean that I’m not excited that the NewMyths.com editors have nominated my story “The Book Traveler” to their Readers’ Choice 2025 ballot! If you click over to the September issue, you can vote for your favorite stories and poems from the short list. You can only vote once (and you’ll need to rank-order the short-listed stories or poems), so please read all of the entries before casting your vote.

As announced earlier, NewMyths.com will be reprinting “The Book Traveler” in their upcoming anthology Janus Gates, scheduled for publication next spring. The winners of the Readers’ Choice will be recognized as such in the Janus Gates anthology.
